7th FxPro Monte-Carlo Beach Volleyball
The Larvotto beach will be hosting the best female beach volleyball teams on 14 and 15 June
The championship is organised by the Monegasque Volleyball Federation, presided over by HSH Prince Albert II. It will bring together around 20 players from the best national women's teams on 14 and 15 June 2014.
Teams from Austria, Spain, Estonia, Greece, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and the USA will compete for prize money of 10,000 $.
The final will be held on Sunday 15 June at 5.30 p.m. Because of the very high level of the players, the sets will be won by strategy, technique, speed and power. A minimum of 18 matches will take place non-stop over the two days, on an Olympic volleyball court facing the sea.
"Amateur" competitions will take place from 11 June.
Numerous "inter-match" events are also planned, including lively dances by a group of Spanish female dancers, with giveaways of promotional gifts.
