As Christmas approaches, a teddy bear named Michka leaves home and ventures out alone into the snow. After discovering the joys and the challenges of freedom, he looks around for a good deed to do. He meets Santa Claus' reindeer, who is struggling to deliver his presents. So the kindly Michka offers to help him out. But when they reach the last house, a sad little cabin, there are no toys left!
