Christmas Village on the theme "Christmas in Canada", organised by Monaco City HallFrom Friday 3 December 2021 to Sunday 2 January 2022, Port of Monaco

The Christmas Village is back in Monaco! From Friday 3 December 2021 to Sunday 2 January 2022, this year the Village has a Canadian theme and the open-air skating rink at its heart wil remain open until 27 February 2022!

As every year, for almost a month there will be a host of attractions at the Port of Monaco, along with the traditional wooden chalets selling festive items and refreshments, all decorated with nearly 800 natural pine trees!

Visitors can explore the different regions of Canada with all their cultural riches, each represented by an artfully arranged and exceptional scenography. The numerous spaces recreate the feel of a walk in the icy north for all ages, through the main provinces of Canada.

There is Atlantic Canada with its sublime coastal architecture, and its famous puffins, while Quebec is present with the Château de Frontenac and "Bonhomme", the official mascot of the city's carnival.

You'll find Niagara Falls in the Ontario scene showcasing that modern and historic city, and Manitoba with its vast, wild prairies, that a guard is looking to conquer!

The province of Alberta displays its plains and rocky mountains, and then there's Saskatchewan with its agriculture and rich forestry industry. Magnificent sculpted totems represent British Columbia and the legendary Canadian Train also has pride of place in this very special North American Village.

As in previous years in the Principality, you'll find the Christmas tree roundabout, carousel and duck fishing attractions along the Quay. The 'caribou ride' and a luge are also new for 2021.

This year, there are 17 chalets selling all kinds of Christmassy items and perfect stocking fillers, with 20 food and drink stands.

The "Big Christmas Tree" (8 metres) has been installed in front of the skating rink as part of the "A Light For Christmas" operation organised by Fight Aids Monaco and the Monaco Red Cross, in partnership with Monaco City Hall.
