On the occasion of the fortieth anniversary
of the death of Maria Callas, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is hosting a major exhibition,
"Maria by Callas" in the spring, based on an original idea by Tom
Volf. This exhibition was presented
at "La Seine Musicale" arts centre last year by the Departmental
Council of the Hauts de Seine and is one of the highlights of the many tributes
being paid to the Diva around the world. The "Maria by Callas" exhibition will be presented
in a variety of different ways, bearing witness in particular to the presence
of Maria Callas in the Principality of Monaco.
