The exhibition is organised by the Cercle des amis de la Collection de Voitures de S.A.S. le Prince.

How Prince Albert I, through his hunting adventures and philosophy 150 years ago, pioneered the hunting practices of today with an approach showing respect for the environment, wildlife, and nature. After the lecture, Jean-Yves Giraudon will be signing copies of his recently published work 'Albert I of Monaco, Hunter Prince' (Editions de Montbel, Paris, 2022). The event will close with cocktail and discussion for the participants. All profits will be donated to two associations: the Albert II of Monaco Foundation and Cantaperdrix. La Dante Monaco pays tribute to the pianist and songwriter Renato Carosone, the unforgettable juggler of words and music, best known as the main creative force of classic Italian lyric songs in the 1950s. The 100th anniversary of Carosone's birth was recently celebrated. Performing on stage will be Lorenzo Hengeller, considered by most critics to be the true heir to the great man. He shows tremendous originality, playing with irony, a sense of theatre, and a multitude of quotes blending jazz and swing. Accompanied by Gianfranco Campagnoli on trumpet, Hengeller will give a very special tribute.

Four friends meet in a mountain chalet to pay a final tribute. Beneath the comedy, humour, tenderness and light-heartedness of their reunion lies an uneasy tension. Something strange. One of the four seems to have no voice. Nobody listens to her. She is almost invisible. We gradually discover that she is in fact a memory, an apparition seen at certain points in the conversation. The comedy then turns to drama as we realise that she is the one the others have come to remember, and that she died at the hands of her partner.

As part of efforts to promote the Principality's young talent and strengthen ties between culture and youth, an open mic event will be organised for and by young people on Tuesday 18 2023 at Fort Antoine. The event is aimed mainly at younger people, allowing those aged 18 to 30 to reveal their musical, acting, or dancing talents on the magical stage of Fort Antoine. If you would like to take part, simply complete the online form before 15 May to sign up. The event is also being organised mainly by young people, specifically a committee of five 18 to 30 year-olds, who are working with teams from the Department of Cultural Affairs. From the technical side to communication, via logistics and artistic policy, they will be overseeing every aspect of the staging of what will hopefully be a hugely successful cultural event.

This exhibition tells the story of the great expedition undertaken by Les Explorations de Monaco in the Indian Ocean in October and November 2022, as seen through the eyes of three artists - Elise Rigot, Chloé Thibault, Rémi Leroy, two photographers - Filip Kulisev, Nicolas Mathys, a journalist - Stéphane Dugast, and a director - Sylvain Péroumal, as well as quotes from various participants. Visitors will discover the highlights of the expedition, and the everyday lives of those involved, the numan adventure, the ship itself - a key character in the story, the scientific work performed day and night, and the exceptional natural sites visited. It is both a celebration of travel, discovery, and imagination, and a thought-provoking reflection on a world faced with very real environmental challenges...

From 20 March 2023, several 2nd year students from the École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques - Pavillon Bosio (ESAP) will take up residence at the Théâtre Princesse Grace for a week to work on a new musical theatre project. At the end of the week, the ESAP students, in collaboration with musicians from the Conservatoire de Nice, will put on a musical and theatrical performance entitled "A corps perdus". Coordinated by Damien Sorrentino and Dominique Drillot, the performance will depict three explorers travelling through different worlds and attempting to talk to the creatures that inhabit them. Their quest? To find a form of transcendence and achieve eternal life… Free admission.

Once again this year, the Principality of Monaco is taking part in the Côte d’Azur Garden Festival. On the famous 'terrasses du Casino' (Fairmont side), two landscaped creations will be on display to the public, on the theme of this 4th edition sponsored by TV personality Denis Brogniart: "Surprising perspectives". The gardens are "La jetée" by Sarah Houlbert and Julien Thirion (France) and "Fire: the surprising gardener" by Amber Myers and Studio Fish & Pot (Netherlands, South Africa). The Prince's Government will also be represented in the "non-competing" category with a creation called "Une question de point de vue" designed by Timothée ROCHE, draughtsman at the Design Office of the Department of Urban Amenities and put together by staff from the highways and gardens sections.

This lecture takes place every two years on the theme of the human brain. The organ is the literal nerve-centre of all our behaviour, our actions, our emotions, but also sadly many diseases. The theme of the 2023 edition will focus on innovations in the field of neuro-technology, under the title "Fiction or Reality", looking at how the advances will impact the lives of people with diseases in the very near future. The programme of the congress is determined by the scientific panel of the FESN, chaired by Prof Pierre Magistretti, and organised with the support of Magnoglia, a Monegasque company that looks to develop innovative pharmaceutical products in the field.

Held under the aegis of YCM’s La Belle Classe Academy training centre, the competition puts the spotlight on gourmet cuisine at sea, another facet of yachting professions. Fully supported by their owners and crew who always come along to encourage them, contestants have to come up with dishes from a basket of mystery ingredients while complying with the contest’s anti-waste criteria.

For George Condo, "the Humanoid is not a science fiction monster, but a depiction that uses traditional methods to bring a person's inner emotions to the surface". Featuring specially produced paintings, the exhibition offers a glimpse of the artist’s process of invention – as crazy as it is erudite – of humanoids.

The Monaco Office for Outer Space Affairs, in collaboration with the French National Centre for Space Research (C.N.E.S.) and French firm Prométhée, is organising a day of discussion and debate at the Oceanographic Museum on the theme of "new space" and its advantages for the maritime sector more widely, marine and coastal conservation, and optimisaion of maritime and port logistics. The day will take the form of a series of round tables involving stakeholders from the various fields and sectors concerned, both public and private, Monegasque and French. The Sovereign is also expected to drop by at the event. The Prince's Government will be represented by Ms Rosabrunetto, Director-General of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, who will be a keynote speaker during the opening session. There will also be speeches by the Digital Platforms and Resources Department and the Office for Outer Space Affairs, and Mr Frédéric Genta, Country Chief Digital Officer, who will give the closing address. The Department of Maritime Affairs and the Department of the Environment will take part in some of the round tables. The event is open to the public, subject to pre-registration.

The first temporary exhibition of the season in the Grands Appartements of the Prince’s Palace. A photographic exhibition entitled “Monaco-Dolceacqua 500” by artist Julien Spiewak. These photos are part of a series entitled Corps de Style which compares the shapes of the human body with a work of art or furniture. This exhibition is one of the events celebrating the twinning between Dolceacqua and Monaco, which will be officially concluded on 3 November, five centuries to the day after an oath of loyalty to Augustin Grimaldi, lord of Monaco, was pledged by the syndics of Dolceacqua.

This part is dark and terrifying: the Princess, now Queen, and her children are threatened by her stepmother, the Ogress Carabosse.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the historic organ of the Chapelle des Carmes or Carmelite Chapel in Monaco. For this special concert, Véra Zvéguintseva, resident organist in Haut-Salat (Ariège) and teacher at the Schola Cantorum, will perform works by Louis Vierne and the Monegasque composer Marc Giacone.
