Exhibition - "Polar Mission"
Until Sunday 5 January 2025, Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
Discover an immersive and interactive experience! Take on the role of a roving reporter and set off on a mission to explore the polar regions! This new exhibition includes five thematic areas spread over two levels. Learn about the poles and their wildlife, and the men and women who populate and explore them. Fascinating objects and documents, digital content and immersive devices come together to create a 360° experience. The great voyage can begin! The IMMERSION room (space N°4) has closed. The other areas of the Polar Mission exhibition will remain open until 5 January 2025.

Exhibition - "George Condo - Humanoids"
From Friday 31 March to Sunday 1 October 2023, Nouveau Musée National de Monaco - Villa Paloma
For George Condo, "the Humanoid is not a science fiction monster, but a depiction that uses traditional methods to bring a person's inner emotions to the surface". Over the course of eight sections, the exhibition traces the continuity of a profuse body of work that ranges from “space beings” to Who’s Who, from Guido Reni to Bugs Bunny. Featuring specially produced paintings, the exhibition offers a glimpse of the artist’s process of invention – as crazy as it is erudite – of humanoids.

Exhibition - "Planète Mer"
From Saturday 3 June to Thursday 31 August 2023, Galerie des Pêcheurs
As precious as they are vulnerable, the oceans and seas cover 70% of our planet and account for 97% of all water found on Earth. They connect people, provide food and oxygen, regulate our climate by absorbing almost a quarter of the CO2 produced, and are home to vastly diverse species. With the support of the Monaco Department for the Environment, Olivier Jude and Sylvie Laurent have chosen to exhibit a selection of unusual images that incite a sense of wonder, but also a deep reflection on the protection of our marine environment. This exhibition is being held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II.

Environment - "Monaco Zero Cigarette Butts"
All summer, Principality of Monaco
As every summer, Monaco City Hall is joining forces with the Tourist and Convention Authority and Société Monégasque d’Assainissement, for a campaign aimed at raising awareness among residents and visitors about the need to keep our environment clean and stamp out pollution, especially in the form of cigarette butts. Throughout the summer season, the staff at the Tourist and Convention Authority will be handing our pocket ashtrays in various areas around the Principality. For information, a number of "MégotBoxes" (terminals for collecting and recycling cigarette butts) can be found outside City Hall.

The Nouveau Musée National de Monaco presents "Santo Sospir", an exhibition by the artist Mauro Restiffe, inspired by the house occupied and decorated by Jean Cocteau in Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat between 1950 and 1962. This silent conversation, orchestrated by Restiffe in the Villa Sauber, is like a cinematographic montage that alternates long shots and close-ups, monumental prints and smaller formats, fostering an embodied vision of the tattooed villa, where a (faceless) self-portrait of the author appears.

Against a backdrop of breathtaking giant decors, "Fragile Polar Worlds" aims to document, inspire, and raise awareness about the important of protecting our oceans. This major exhibition is part of celebrations to mark the 140th anniversary of Claude Monet's first visit to Monaco and the Riviera, where the great impressionist, already halfway through his long life, would discover the landscapes and light that were to be the turning point of his work and career. Around a section devoted to the paintings he produced during his stays on the Riviera, featuring twenty-one loaned pieces displayed for the first time close to the very places they were painted, the exhibition looks at the master's work, from his early days in Le Havre to his final paintings in Giverny, from the perspective of his constant quest to capture light.
