UEFA Champions League: Monaco v. Club Bruges KV Tuesday 6 November 2018, at 6.55 pm Stade Louis-II

The UEFA Champions League is an annual football tournament organised by the Union of European Football Associations, bringing together the continent's top clubs. For matchday 4 of this season's competition, AS Monaco will be continuing their European campaign at the Stade Louis II against FC Bruges on Tuesday 6 November 2018 at 6.55 pm.
Currently bottom of group A, AS Monaco have yet to pick up any points and need to bounce back if they are to maintain their hopes of remaining in the competition and securing qualification for the Europa League at the very least.

Last season, the club exited the UEFA Champions League early on while FC Bruges were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League at the playoff stage. Which of the teams' respective coaches Thierry Henry and Ivan Leko will come out on top in this battle?

Monaco:
• Monaco finished runners-up in Ligue 1 last season, and while they reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2016/17, they finished bottom of their group last season, garnering just two points from their six matches.
• Monaco have not won in European competition since defeating Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the quarter-final second leg in April 2017.
• Finalists in 2004, Monaco are the last French side to reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Bruges:
• FC Bruges won the Belgian league last season to secure their second title in three years, securing qualification for the Champions League group stage. The team failed to reach the groups last season after being knocked out in the third qualifying round, and were also eliminated at the group stage in 2016/2017.
• The club from Bruges is one of the most successful in the history of Belgian football, with fifteen league titles and two appearances in the finals of European competitions, although they were defeated on both occasions.
• The Blauw-Zwart are making their return to the Champions League proper after eleven years, and will end the group stage by hosting Atlético Madrid on 11 December.
