The Grimaldi Forum is hosting the international meeting for Sport, Television and New Media from 15 to 18 October 2012



For four days, SPORTELMonaco, which is being held under the High Patronage of H.H.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the patronage of the International Olympic Committee, will be playing host to the leading stakeholders and celebrities from sport and television, who will be taking part in a variety of events: 

The International Sports Content Market for Television and the New Media, a series of lectures and round tables conducted by experts from the sector, and the "Georges Bertellotti Golden Podium" Awards Evening.  Each year, these prizes recognise the work of directors and are awarded for the best sports images of the year.  The ceremony is open to the general public (invitations can be collected from Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority.)

The event also includes the 15th SPORTEL Book Awards, which this year have been renamed the "Renaud de Laborderie SPORTEL Book Awards" in tribute to the awards' founder and secretary.

SPORTELMonaco is the world leader in the purchasing and sale of sports programmes and content for the new media.  Last year, SPORTEL attracted 2,330 participants and 970 companies representing 67 countries!
