Electric racing cars, vehicle tests, and novelties at the Ever exhibition!

Publication date: 09/05/2023
The event dedicated to the energy transition and low-carbon mobility is preparing to welcome professionals and the public to the Espace Fontvieille on 11 and 12 May.

It is now a fixture on the packed calendar of events taking place in the Principality throughout the year: Ever, dedicated to the energy transition and low-carbon mobility, is marking its 18th anniversary this year, a sign that rising awareness about energy issues is nothing new.
This show, which is aimed at both the general public and professionals, has always been clear about its objective, which is to showcase the latest innovations in low-carbon mobility and the energy transition.

Among the new additions for 2023 is Volvo Trucks. The manufacturer will be   presenting its range of all-electric trucks and work vehicles. The innovations aren’t just to be found on land, but in the air too, with German firm Lilium unveiling the model of its electric-powered jet currently in development. Designed to carry up to six passengers, the VTOL electric aircraft will boast a zero-emissions range of up to 500 km. It is due to be certified for 2025.

Whether you are looking to buy or merely browse, you can test a number of electric vehicles with the Ride & Drive service. These real-life tests can help to increase electric mobility’s already significant market share in the Principality, with some 20% of all vehicles set to be electric by the end of 2023, according to figures from the Mission for Energy Transition.

As ever, Monaco is at the cutting edge of technology and efforts to protect the environment, while remaining a mecca for motor sports for over a century. In recognition of the Principality’s historic connection to racing, Ever will be displaying two of the electric cars that competed in different ABB FIA Formula E Championships. While the Monaco E-Prix held on Saturday 6 May used third generation (GEN 3) cars, visitors to Ever will get a glimpse of the GEN 1 model used by Venturi Formula E Team, the Monegasque team founded by Gildo Pastor, and a GEN 2 from Nissan e.dams, now known as the Nissan Formula E Team.

To visit this amazing event, which reflects the Principality’s proactive approach to electric mobility, head to the Espace Fontvieille on 11 and 12 May!
