Event - "11th Monaco Energy Boat Challenge"

The Monaco Energy Boat Challenge is the leading meeting for new technologies and alternative energy sources, part of the Y.C.M.'s priority ambition to shape the future of yachting. Created over ten years ago, the event brings together young engineers from schools and universities around the world, giving them the opportunity to collaborate with yachting industry stakeholders. In 2023, some 46 teams from 31 universities and 25 nations demonstrated the efficacy of their open source solutions.

Sport - "Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series (Act I)"

In line with the YCM's sporting policy and featuring the Melges 20 class from 2013 thanks to the efforts of Valentin Zavadnikov, then later the J/70 class, the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series are a one-design winter programme of training and regattas taking place monthly between December and March. The format has proven hugely popular, with more than 350 yachtsmen and women coming from all over Europe to set up their winter training base in the Principality, as they prepare for the biggest races of the coming season.

25th No Finish Line Monaco. The idea behind this charity run is the same as always: run or walk whatever distance you like, at your own pace, and for every kilometre you clock up, 1 euro will be donated to support sick and disadvantaged children. Organised by Children & Future.

Final stage of the Tour de France 2024 between Monaco and Nice. Motor sports fans will be familiar with the first few corners of this time-trial in the streets of the Principality, with the riders set to follow the same route as the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Once past the Rock, they will then make their way up to La Turbie before clearing another pass, the Col d'Eze, in the last difficult section of this year's Tour. Finally, they will have to nimbly negotiate the descent towards Nice on their way to the finish line on the Promenade des Anglais, completing what promises to be a spectacular 111th Tour de France.

Every year since 2003, a footballer is recognised for their athletic achievements and personality, with an international prize known as the Golden Foot. The winner is presented with a gold trophy, and invited to leave their footprint on the seaside Promenade des Champions, in the Principality of Monaco.
