For its 20th anniversary, the famous restaurant and bar on Port Hercule is holding a "street party" on Thursday 4 July 2013
The Stars'N'Bars was created in 1993 in an old abandoned warehouse by Kate Powers and Didier Rubiolo, who wanted to create a venue with an American ambiance.
The "Stars" is ideal for families (there's a special room for children, with an activities leader) and has also become a favourite with sports stars (it also has one of the largest collection of items that once belonged to sports celebrities, including Mika Hakkinen's authentic Formula 1 racing car!)
Twenty years later, the Stars'N'Bars is an entertainment complex on three floors. It offers a restaurant and catering service and has a view of the port.
On 4 July 2013, the restaurant will be celebrating both its twentieth anniversary and Independence Day, the American national day.
The Stars'N'Bars will be organising a "street party" for the occasion from 6 pm, with children's activities, American food stalls, a DJ, and more.
There'll be a concert by Joey Fulco and his group the Subway Gunmen Band from Las Vegas.
Free entry, open to all.
Everyone is invited to come dressed "American style."
