13th Edition of the "Rêverie sur les Jardins ("Garden Daydreams") Show in Monaco

The "Garden Daydreams" Show will take place from 23 to 25 April 2010 on the terraces of the Casino de Monte-Carlo

The "Garden Daydreams" Show was created by the Monaco Garden Club and is a unique concept.   Jean Mus, the renowned landscape designer, has designed a large, ephemeral garden especially for the show, using all the plants from the Mediterranean basin - the perfect setting for a charming stroll!

This important open-air exhibition and sale will bring together craftspeople, garden designers, interior decorators and others from the world of gardening.

The theme of the show is "The Art of the Mediterranean Garden."  The show is open to the general public and will be held on the terraces of Monte-Carlo Casino in the traditional heart of Monaco.  It's the most important open-air show of its kind.

A New Dimension

The "Garden Daydreams" show has grown considerably.  The exhibitors have been carefully selected for the variety and quality of their work.  They are all completely different but have been chosen to complement each other perfectly.  The show is a delightful introduction to the world of plants and exterior design.

An Ephemeral Garden

Two thousand Mediterranean plants will adorn the pathways leading to the exhibition areas, just one of the original touches in the show that will transform the terraces of the Casino into a huge private garden.

A Show Full of Scents and Colours

Jasmine, roses, orange trees, lemon trees, olive trees, lavender and rosemary set the scene for visitors on their walk.

This event is unique of its type, as it is twinned with the International Bouquet Competition, the internationally renowned flower arranging competition. More than 150 amateur flower arrangers from near and far will demonstrate the art of making bouquets, and their creations are guaranteed to amaze the visitors!  Once again, the President of the Monaco Garden Club, H.R.H the Princess of Hanover, will be responsible for choosing the theme of the competition.
