Sir Elton John and Ray Cooper will perform at the Sporting Monte-Carlo on 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 August 2010 as part of the Sporting Summer Festival 2010
Les Casinos de Monte-Carlo and Rolex are pleased to announce that Sir Elton John will perform in a series of exceptional concerts for audiences in Monaco as part of the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival 2010.
Elton John is a legendary star of the pop rock galaxy, a singer songwriter and performer with an amazing career. This British superstar has left his mark on the last four decades of musical history. His numerous albums and singles have achieved massive sales and he has received countless awards.
Sir Elton John's longstanding success is due to his exceptional creativity, his professionalism, his brilliant musical ability and his interest in the music of others. It is also due to his generous character - he is someone who is prepared to get involved. As well as developing his personal interests to the full, he has also devoted himself to charity work.
At 60, he is more dynamic than ever. With his lifelong friend, Ray Cooper, he will electrify the audiences at the Salle des Etoiles. Ray Cooper is a cult musician who has accompanied some of the greatest performers. He captivated Elton's fans with his energy and skilful performances on their two legendary tours together in the 70s and the 90s.
