Nothing could be easier in Monte-Carlo than to enjoy water sports in the Mediterranean, from the more traditional to more uncommon ones, anything is possible in Monte Carlo !

Invigorating activities available in the Principality include windsurfing, water skiing, wake boarding, banana boats, jet skis, parascending, Larvotto Beach and Monte Carlo Beach. Sailing is within easy reach with the enthusiastic professionals of the Monaco Yacht ClubThere are two ways of discovering the rich secrets of the Monaco sea bed : dive with the CESMM or Monegasque Marine Academy

Thanks to its daily sunshine, outdoor sports are extremely favoured in the Principality.

Looking to hit a few balls? Play tennis, in the unique setting of the Monte Carlo Country Club, with its 23 tennis courts including 21 in clay, the same place where the greatest champions begin the tournament season or try t he Tennis Club de Monaco. Enjoy a round of golf at the prestigious Monte Carlo Golf Club an 18 hole par 71 course at 810 metres up on Mont Agel, overlooking the Principality in enchanting surroundings.

 

Go for a run on the 1.4 km soft track above the Avenue Princesse Grace with panoramic views over the coast or on the 2.5 km health track tucked away in a 6,600-square-metre olive grove by the Exotic Garden, with 20 fitness stations. Both are free of charge and open daily.

The Via Alpina taking advantage of existing footpaths, links the Principality of Monaco to the Italian city of Trieste. Follow this itinerary and you will travel through 8 countries around the Alps: France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Slovenia and the Principality of Monaco. 
In Monegasque territory, departure and arrival are on the Palace Square. The path, clearly marked, continues through the Saint-Martin Gardens and down Avenue de Porte Neuve, across Place d'Armes towards the Exotic Garden. It then crosses into French territory in the direction of La Turbie.  The trail has 8 stages in the Alpes Maritimes department, from the Col de la Lombarde to La Turbie.

The mountains are only a short distance from the Principality, and in the winter, a two-hour drive makes it possible to ski in the nearby French resorts: Peira Cava (57 km), Gréolières (68 km), La Colmiane (89 km), Valberg (103 km), Isola 2000 (110 km) and Auron (116 km); or in the nearby Italian resorts of Limone (82 km) and Monesi (123 km).
