A Team from the Métropole Monte-Carlo is Running in the 14th "No Finish Line" in Monaco from 16 to 24 November 2013

The Monegasque hotel is joining forces with Peace & Sport to form a team of champions in aid of the Children & Future association

From Saturday 16 November at 2 p.m. to Sunday 24 November 2013 at 2 p.m., the Métropole Monte-Carlo is reaffirming its commitment to "No Finish Line."  This year, it is joining forces with the Peace and Sport organisation.

These two Monegasque institutions are getting together in a sporting spirit to raise funds for the "Children & Future" association.

The 300 members of the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo – Peace & Sport team will be running on the "No Finish Line" circuit on Port Hercule.  The aim is to cover as many kilometres as possible on the 1,370-m circuit by walking or running.  For each kilometre covered, 1€ will be donated to the "Children & Future" association.

The Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo – Peace & Sport team will run in relays day and night for this good cause.

Each evening from 6.30 p.m., the participants will have the privilege of meeting an athlete in the Métropole / Peace and Sport tent, who will accompany them along the route.

This is a unique opportunity to meet some sports legends – and Champions of Peace, such as Wilson Kipketer, Yelena Isinbaeva and Marc Raquil.

The Novotel Monte-Carlo's Fund-Raising Activities at "No Finish Line"

The hotel is taking part in the charity race "No Finish Line," which will take place from 16 to 24 November 2013

For "No Finish Line," the Novotel Monte-Carlo is organising a sale of coffee and croissants in front of the hotel on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 November, from 8 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.  All the money raised will be given to the organisers of "No Finish Line."

The hotel is also entering a team comprised of employees, parents and friends.  Last year, the team clocked up 1,532.28 km!

14th "No Finish Line" in Monaco from 16 to 24 November 2013

Each year, sports fans take part in the "No Finish Line" charity race in a combined show of generosity

"No Finish Line" is a sports event organised by the Children & Future association.  Over the years, this race has become one of the most important charity events in Monaco.

The principle is simple, and the event is open to all - run or walk as many times as you like, and as far as you like, around a 1,400m-circuit (1,531 yards), which is open 24 hours a day for eight days.

Thanks to the registration fees (12 € for adults and 6 € for children under 10), donors and sponsors, Children & Future are able to donate 1 € for each kilometre run (0.62 miles) to support projects that help disadvantaged or sick children.  

Since its creation, more than 46,000 people (Monegasques, residents of the Côte d'Azur and people from abroad) have taken part in "No Finish Line."

Last year, 8,701 people took part in the race and ran a total of 275,795 kilometres (170,878 miles) in eight days.  The aim for 2013 is to involve 10,000 people and cover 300,000 kilometres (186.411 miles).
