2nd Monte-Carlo Fighting Masters - Thai Boxing

The World Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) Championship will be held in Monaco on Saturday 14 June 2014

The 2nd Monte-Carlo Fighting Masters proposes an evening of Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), featuring an exceptional line-up of boxers from around the world. The best of these boxers will battle it out to become World Champion.

Muay Thai is a renowned combat sport that uses punches and kicks; it is also a sport with a strong tradition and an important part of the culture of the Kingdom of Thailand. This remarkable sporting discipline is known for being a particularly effective form of combat.  It is governed by strict sporting rules and ethical values, such as the respect between athletes.

This event is the follow-up to the successful 1st Monte-Carlo Fighting Masters, which was broadcast on Canal+. Held in a jam-packed Louis II Stadium, the first edition of the event was a world first, with some of the best athletes from around the world (including Russia, Italy, the Netherlands and the US) battling it out in eight fights for eight world championship titles in Kick Boxing and K1 Rules.
