A journey into the surreal, epic and darkly funny world of intensive care. This is the gripping, amusing, blistering account of a talented young actor, who suddenly and brutally finds herself at death's door. A simple case of the flu takes a turn for the worse, and the young woman is rushed to hospital. With her heart failing and her life in the balance, the medical team decide to place her on a cardiopulmonary bypass machine. On stage, the machine and the medical team are portrayed by a nurse/musician.
