Christmas is approaching! Perhaps you will have family visiting you in the Principality.
After a heart festive lunch, why not take an afternoon or evening stroll around the Christmas Village, sip a glass of mulled wine as you watch the children on the traditional carousel, miniature train or Christmas tree merry-go-round. This year, there will be a White Christmas in the Village, with three specially created areas, each in a different Nordic style:
- the igloo village, which is lit up at nightfall for a fairytale atmosphere
- the Inuit village, all made from wood in the style of traditional Inuit dwellings
- the ice village, with icebergs and frozen totems.
If the weather is inclement, head to the Métropole Shopping
Monte-Carlo and see the stunning decorations.
If you are looking for somewhere to have lunch or dinner, the Columbus is offering a menu including foie gras and Yule log.
Or why not head to the Saphir24 for a festive jazz brunch, or to Nobu.

The Bright Lights of the Casino de Monte-Carlo
Place du Casino will play host to a superb sound and light show from 6 pm on 31 December. When the sun goes down, the Casino de Monte-Carlo will be the venue for an unforgettable experience, dressed in its festive best for an exceptional spectacle.

At the Christmas Village
To ring in 2020 in style, Monaco City Hall is organising a grand evening of music at the heart of the Christmas Village, with open-air concerts, two DJs and tasty food available from 9 pm to 3 am. There will be a fireworks display at midnight, and the ice rink will be open until 2 am specially.

A night at the Blue Gin
The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel
& Resort bar will be serving cocktails and musical entertainment courtesy of DJ Nicolas Saad. Throughout the evening, Simeon Wolfgang will be performing close-up magic tricks, and there will of course be fireworks on the stroke of midnight!
