The Principality and all that jazz!

Publication date: 04/11/2022
This year's 16th Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival will feature 11 unmissable dates!

Calling all jazz fans! If you're in the Principality between 9 November and 4 December, you'll have a front row seat at the highly prestigious Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival. A chance to experience some of the very finest jazz music in the idyllic setting of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.

The greatest jazz artists will be in the Principality to offer us the best jazz has to offer in all its diversity, going right to the edge and even flirting with prog rock. They include the iconic Melody Gardot or British rock band Jethro Tull.

Festival highlights will include a concert on 29 November by the Rainier III Academy, which will mix new takes on some jazz standards with a dose of pop. There will also be a tribute to trumpeter Chet Baker with a screening of the film "Let’s Get Lost" on 1 December, in partnership with the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco.

The festival will close on 4 December with "A Very Chilly Christmas", the brand new show by composer Chilly Gonzales, in the run-up to Christmas.

And to guarantee a completely unforgettable experience, why not add some before or after refreshments at the Hôtel Hermitage, the Hôtel de Paris, or the Hôtel Monte-Carlo Bay?
