Traditionally held at the Rainier III Auditorium in early June every two years, the hugely popular Artists Forum is going online for 2020.From Friday 5 June at 11 am, to Friday 3 July 2020
Created by the Prince's Government and put into practice by the Department of Cultural Affairs, the initiative aims to support local artists and make them a part of the Principality's cultural policy.
In view of the current health crisis, the priority is to ensure continuity for the calendar of cultural events and activities, and to provide a satisfactory alternative for the many participants.
Almost 80 amateur and professional artists, including both Monegasques and residents of the Principality, will be displaying their works of painting, sculpture, and photography online.
This fifth edition of the event will once again see members of the public given the opportunity to vote (online) for their favourite piece. The winner will be announced on 13 June on the website's homepage, which will be specially dedicated to the artwork and the artist who created it.
This virtual art gallery will be online until Friday 3 July. A souvenir of this special one-off format can be obtained by downloading the Catalogue of the 5th Monaco Artists' Forum.
