Dante Symphony

"DANTE SYMPHONY" by Franz LISZT *
Original transcription for two pianos, Choir and Narrator

As part of the "21st Week of the Italian Language in the World", to mark the 700th anniversary of the great Italian poet Dante Alighieri, the association Dante Monaco presents the "Dante Symphony" by Franz Liszt. Sponsored by the Embassy of Italy and in collaboration with the Rainier III Academy, the Concert was transcribed by Franz Liszt himself for two pianists and a choir, based on the structure of the Divine Comedy .

It will be performed in Monaco by the pianists Monica Leone and Michele Campanella, accompanied by the Children's Choir of the Rainier III Academy. The score will be enhanced by the presitigious participation of the famous actors and musician Sonia Bergamasco, reading various extracts from the Divine Comedy.
