From 2 to 5 June 2022, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra will have the honour and pleasure of hosting the 5th Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition, under the High Patronage of H.R.H. the Princess of HanoverSunday 5 June 2022, Auditorium Rainier III
This special edition will mark the 20th anniversary of the passing of Maestro Svetlanov in 2022, and will be broadcast on numerous international television channels. Eighteen candidates will perform before a jury composed of the great Maestro Neeme Järvi, and the final round on Sunday 5 June will be open to the public,  who will be able to vote and award the Popular Prize.

This event is sure to be a unique and unforgettable highlight for the OPMC, and will make Monaco an international capital of classical music for a few very special days.

Times of the public final on Sunday 5 June
2 pm – 3.20 pm: 1st candidate
3.40 pm – 5 pm: 2nd candidate
6 pm – 7.20 pm: 3rd candidate
7.40 pm – 9 pm: 4th candidate
9 pm - 9.45 pm: jury deliberation, vote by the public and orchestra
10 pm: results and prize ceremony
