Press Conference on the Cinema and Literature International Forum in Monaco
On 12 and 13 March, the 9th edition of the Cinema and Literature International Forum will be held in the Sporting d'Hiver. FNAC Monaco is partnering the event, which will be introduced on Thursday 18 February at 6pm.
The Cinema and Literature International Forum was established in 2001 by Claire Breuvart and Hans-Stephan Kreidel under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco, and is the leading international meeting on adaptation for cinema.
Since its inception it has brought together illustrious personalities from the world of literature, animations, cinema and television, such as Mary Higgins Clark, Claude Miller, Jeanne Moreau, Paul Coelho, Sir Alan Parker, Marc Lévy, Jean Reno, Douglas Kennedy, Tim Roth, Christopher Lee, Ben Gazzara, Daniel Auteuil and many others.
The Cinema and Literature International Forum is a perfect mix of culture and glamour and brings the legend of cinema alive each year in Monaco.
It offers:
- For the public: debates, round tables, courses on cinema, book signings and previews of films.
- For school students – pitch competitions and a workshop on literary adaptation, given by a well-known writer.
- For professionals – informal meetings.
FNAC Monaco will present the 2010 programme at the Forum FNAC Monaco in the presence of Claire Breuvart-Kreidel, President of the event, Hans-Stephan Kreidel, Director, and Lisa Fonseca, who is responsible for the pitch competitions for school students.
Find out what is new for 2010 and who has been invited! The Honorary President will be Jean Van Hamme (Largo Winch, Thirteen ... ), the Honorary President of the Jury for the best adaptable novel will be Olivier Marchal (36 Quai des Orfèvres, MR73, Braquo ... ); the Patron of the pitch competitions will be Jean-Christophe Grangé (Purple Rivers, Empire of the Wolves…). The programme will feature detective films, animations, 3D projections at the Grimaldi Forum, signing sessions and much more.
