The General Manager of the Hôtel Columbus Monaco is Elected 2012 Hotelier of the Year

Alexandre-Pierre Faidherbe has been awarded the coveted title of "Hotelier of the Year" by the Monegasque Hotel Industries Association.

The General Manager of the Hôtel Columbus Monaco has just been elected 2012 "Hotelier of the Year."

A quick look back at his career:
Monaco, 1973:  a young "cellar assistant" made his debut at the Hôtel de Paris in Monte-Carlo.  The love affair between Alexandre-Pierre Faidherbe and Monaco had begun …

For around thirty years, Alexandre-Pierre would fine-tune his experience in "multi-starred" hotels all over the world:  Iran, Ivory Coast and Gambia … Then with the Accord Group in the Seychelles, French Polynesia and New Caledonia – a wide variety of destinations and hotels, which enabled him to experience different cultures and civilizations.

After so many years away from the Rock, his ultimate goal was to return to Monaco.

In 2010, having been one of the Directors of the famous "Le Négresco" hotel in Nice, he headed to the Columbus Monte-Carlo, where he is now focussing all his energy.
