La Trattoria Italian restaurant reopens on 11 May 2017.
This year, Alain Ducasse has put chef Robbie Pepin in charge of the kitchens at his second restaurant in Monaco. He offers his own interpretation of this generous, tasty cuisine, which reflects the diversity of the products of the Riviera. The menu pays tribute to these products and features elegant food that is perfectly prepared.
Carpaccio of sea bass, pine nuts, olives and chives; Octopus, cuttlefish and potatoes; Marinated anchovy fillets, fennel; Preserved and grilled vegetables; or Aubergine "Caviar." The traditional pizzette and the dried and fresh pasta bar are also a must at the Trattoria at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
The menu also features gluten-free dishes. Pizzette Margherita, Penne all'Amatriciana, with asparagus or all'Arrabiata, are prepared by the chef.
With regard to sweets, the great classics are revisited, such as Panna Cotta (caramel, chocolate, and red berries), Tiramisù and Sicilian Cassata. The carrettino dei gelati, an old-fashioned bicycle with a red ice-cream container with silver bells attached to it, offers ice creams and multicolored sorbets.
The wines – from Liguria to Sicily - originate mainly from Italian grape varieties, and are an invitation to discover the subtle flavors of the local regions.
Open 7 days a week – for dinner from 7.30 p.m. From Thursday 11 May to Saturday 30 September 2017 (inclusive)
