As part of the fiftieth anniversary celebrations, the
Department of Cultural Affairs is organizing two distinct special programs.

"After a furious chase, Ripaille, a vagabond lover of fine food and literature, finds refuge in a caravan that is greatly to his liking. Having eaten nothing for several days, he is finally able to satisfy his hunger and that of the spectators, while casting an eye back over a string of childhood memories and gourmand anecdotes, from Rabelais to Colette via Prévert, Baudelaire, Hugo, Dumas, Brillat Savarin and a dozen other, equally distinguished authors.
Jérôme Pouly, Sociétaire of the Comédie Française, masterfully blends two of France's greatest contributions to humanity, namely gastronomy and literature.
This play will be performed outdoors, on the Place du Marché.
The performance will be followed by the opportunity to taste dishes from local producers.
Ticket office open.
Free places, subject to availability.
