The artist Lamberto Melina presents his work from 11 February until 3 March 2014

Lamberto Melina developed his innate qualities at an early age. He studied art in Milan, the city where he is also a graduate in philosophy. Artistic director and visual designer, since the early 90s, he dedicated to art with increasing success, presenting his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

In 1996, he ended a cycle and disappears from the public art scene until 2007. During these years of silence, he devoted himself to the theoretical foundation of his « artistic work » and tested at the
same time, multiple techniques, from video art to computer art and photography.

At the end of his conceptual road, Lamberto Melina publicly reappears with a stylistic innovation, ontologically powerful and fascinating. In a short time, he became one of the most popular artists at the national level. So much that in late 2009, the
prestigious cultural magazine « Prometeo »published a long interview. It was at this time that the artist describes the philosophical foundations and design of the new act, which provides technology for meaning, not the reverse.

The last three years, Lamberto Melina has exhibited in prestigious venues in Italy and abroad. Among his many appearances, it should be noted his participation in 2011 to the 54° Venice Biennale, the different institutional presences in Rome, Naples, Prague and Chicago under the patronage of the Ministry of
Cultural Heritage and the many awards won.
