Five-year-old Saroo finds himself alone in a train
that is crossing India. It transports
him, against his will, thousands of miles away from his family. After months of wandering, he is taken
into an orphanage and adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty-five years later, he has become a
real Australian, but still thinks about his family in India.
