13th Monte-Carlo International Show Jumping. From Thursday 28 June to Saturday 30 June, Port de Monaco
Since 2006, the Monte-Carlo International Show Jumping has attracted the best riders in the
world. The 2018 event will take
place at the foot of the Prince's Palace, in the unique setting of Port
Hercule, and will be held over three days, from 28 to 30 June 2018.
The Monte-Carlo International Show Jumping ring is one of the most
difficult on the world circuit. It
is full of obstacles, and its main characteristic is that it is short, narrow
and twisty. The narrow course therefore
requires the riders to demonstrate perfect control and technique, ensuring an outstanding
show.
Show Jumping is both a jumping competition and a race against
the clock. Champions compete for
the Prince of Monaco Grand Prize, the supreme award at this stage.
The best riders in the world and their horses will gather in the
Principality for an exceptional sporting show, which makes show jumping an art.
