Monte-Carlo Fashion Week is an international event first organised in 2013 by the Monaco Fashion Chamber (CMM). Founded in 2009, the organisation aims to bring together and promote Monaco's fashion houses, and make the Principality a platform for international fashion. Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, Monte-Carlo Fashion Week gains in prestige every year, as part of the international fashion week calendar.
In 2019, Monte-Carlo Fashion Week will take place from 15 to 19 May, on the theme "Made in Italy". The guest of honour will be Italian designer Alberta
Ferretti, who will be presenting her Resort 2020 collection.
A unique programme of events covering various sectors will include a number of catwalk shows by iconic designers and up-and-coming names in the Fashion Village at the Espace Fontvieille, along with fashion talks and lectures, social functions, and the highly anticipated MCFW© Fashion Awards
