Lecture - "Sciascia-Pasolini: I due ultimi eretici"
Monday 28 November 2022, at 7 pm, Théâtre des Variétés
To mark the centenary of their birth (2021, 2022), two intellectuals like Sciascia and Pasolini are compared and contrasted by professors Luglio and Pischedda, who praise their skills as polemicists - engaged in a fierce battle with the beliefs of their era - whilst retaining a critical perspective. Two "heretical" personalities, as has often been said, whose respective journalistic writings and works merit painstaking analysis. With inevitable differences, Sciascia and Pasolini left lasting impressions through their writings, which today compel us to face a number of often provocative and paradoxical theses. Organised by Dante Alighieri Monaco.
