Basketball - Turkish Airlines EuroLeague: AS Monaco Roca Team - CSKA Moscow. Basketball has been a popular sport on the Rock of Monaco for many years. The "Roca Boys'" predecessors were among the top sides in French basketball. Fans had to wait almost a quarter of a century to see the Roca Team back on the highest stage, with Monegasque basketball making its return to the top flight in the 2015/2016 season. In Monaco, sport is a passion and a state of mind inspired by the Sovereign. Basketball now stands alongside football, tennis and Formula 1 in flying the sporting flag for the Principality. To add a touch of glamour, the Roca Girls, cheerleaders of the Roca Team, wow spectators at the Gaston Médecin with vibrant modern dance performances, original routines, and sensuality for a stunning spectacle. During matches, timeouts are now hotly anticipated. Music, cheerleaders and dunks make for a real American-style spectacle! An experience not to be missed!
