We know of no planet like the Earth. Alexandre Morbidelli, one of science's youngest
academicians, who lives in La Turbie, stated that, "All astronomers
believe in the existence of life elsewhere. If it has happened here, it has to happen somewhere else. The
big question is the likelihood of this happening."Wednesday 27 June, Yacht Club de Monaco
How unique the Earth is in the universe, and life even
more so ...
Is there life elsewhere in the universe?
This question has recurred since the dawn of time and enlivens
the wildest conversations.
Alessandro Morbidelli, Italian astronomer and
planetologist, who is from La Turbie, has been CNRS Research Director at the
Côte d'Azur Observatory since 1992, is a Doctor in Mathematics and one of the
youngest academicians of Sciences, will try to provide answers.
With him, there will be no passionate debates, but an extremely
interesting meeting.
