Exposition - "Cinémato !"
From Tuesday 25 January to Saturday 31 December 2022, from 10am to 5:30pm (5pm on friday), Audiovisual Institute of Monaco
Cinémato ! Albert I of Monaco, image and sound pioneer. Sovereign scholar and humanist, Prince Albert I (1848-1922) was interested, beyond passion for science, in all the innovative techniques of his time. Thanks to loans from the Archives of the Palace of Monaco and the Oceanographic Institute, the collections of the Audiovisual Institute and the know-how of its teams, this cabinet of curiosities intends to recall how much Prince Albert I was able to link the experience of photography and sound recording. Organised by the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco.

Exhibition - "Polar Mission"
Until Sunday 5 January 2025, Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
Discover an immersive and interactive experience! Take on the role of a roving reporter and set off on a mission to explore the polar regions! This new exhibition includes five thematic areas spread over two levels. Learn about the poles and their wildlife, and the men and women who populate and explore them. Fascinating objects and documents, digital content and immersive devices come together to create a 360° experience. The great voyage can begin! The IMMERSION room (space N°4) has closed. The other areas of the Polar Mission exhibition will remain open until 5 January 2025.

Mythological characters and dancing female figures, panoramas interpreted with dreamlike lyricism, universally recognizable buildings and monuments... The Art of the Cinema - Cine-Lecture, "The Worlds of Albert I. Journal of a Life". A collaboration between the Palace Archives, the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, and the Albert I - 2022 Committee, looking at the work of Prince Albert I, sovereign, man of action, scholar, philanthropist, and humanitarian, as seen through his favourite places – Monaco, France, Norway, Portugal, and the United States. Drawing on extracts from his personal journal kept by the Prince from 1893 to 1922, this cine-lecture will encompass a plethora of visual and audio resources. Under the High Patronage of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover.
