Exhibition - "Polar Mission"
Until Sunday 5 January 2025, Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
Discover an immersive and interactive experience! Take on the role of a roving reporter and set off on a mission to explore the polar regions! This new exhibition includes five thematic areas spread over two levels. Learn about the poles and their wildlife, and the men and women who populate and explore them. Fascinating objects and documents, digital content and immersive devices come together to create a 360° experience. The great voyage can begin! The IMMERSION room (space N°4) has closed. The other areas of the Polar Mission exhibition will remain open until 5 January 2025.

Visitors can discover twelve of the German constructor's most iconic racing and sports cars, which are being put on display as part of celebrations to mark Porsche's 75th anniversary. The exhibition is organised by the Cercle des amis de la Collection de Voitures de S.A.S. le Prince.

"On her sixteenth birthday, she shall prick her finger on a spindle and die", exclaims the wicked fairy Nepenthes, casting her evil spell at Rose's christening. But she has not reckoned with the child's extravagant fairy godmother Mimosa, and the help of the cowardly yet big-hearted Prince Christian.

Lecture - "The Hunting Adventures of Prince Albert I of Monaco, Pioneer of Ecology"
Wednesday 15 March 2023, at 6 pm, Musée d’Anthropologie Préhistorique
How Prince Albert I, through his hunting adventures and philosophy 150 years ago, pioneered the hunting practices of today with an approach showing respect for the environment, wildlife, and nature. After the lecture, Jean-Yves Giraudon will be signing copies of his recently published work 'Albert I of Monaco, Hunter Prince' (Editions de Montbel, Paris, 2022). The event will close with cocktail and discussion for the participants. All profits will be donated to two associations: the Albert II of Monaco Foundation and Cantaperdrix. Places are limited, so advance booking is required.

La Dante Monaco pays tribute to the pianist and songwriter Renato Carosone, the unforgettable juggler of words and music, best known as the main creative force of classic Italian lyric songs in the 1950s. The 100th anniversary of Carosone's birth was recently celebrated. Performing on stage will be Lorenzo Hengeller, considered by most critics to be the true heir to the great man. He shows tremendous originality, playing with irony, a sense of theatre, and a multitude of quotes blending jazz and swing. Accompanied by Gianfranco Campagnoli on trumpet, Hengeller will give a very special tribute.

Four friends meet in a mountain chalet to pay a final tribute. Beneath the comedy, humour, tenderness and light-heartedness of their reunion lies an uneasy tension. Something strange. One of the four seems to have no voice. Nobody listens to her. She is almost invisible. We gradually discover that she is in fact a memory, an apparition seen at certain points in the conversation. The comedy then turns to drama as we realise that she is the one the others have come to remember, and that she died at the hands of her partner.

Call for participation - Open mic event at Fort Antoine
From Friday 17 March to Monday 15 May 2023, Principality of Monaco
As part of efforts to promote the Principality's young talent and strengthen ties between culture and youth, an open mic event will be organised for and by young people on Tuesday 18 2023 at Fort Antoine. The event is aimed mainly at younger people, allowing those aged 18 to 30 to reveal their musical, acting, or dancing talents on the magical stage of Fort Antoine. If you would like to take part, simply complete the online form before 15 May to sign up. The event is also being organised mainly by young people, specifically a committee of five 18 to 30 year-olds, who are working with teams from the Department of Cultural Affairs. From the technical side to communication, via logistics and artistic policy, they will be overseeing every aspect of the staging of what will hopefully be a hugely successful cultural event.

Exhibition - "Regards Croisés"

This exhibition tells the story of the great expedition undertaken by Les Explorations de Monaco in the Indian Ocean in October and November 2022, as seen through the eyes of three artists - Elise Rigot, Chloé Thibault, Rémi Leroy, two photographers - Filip Kulisev, Nicolas Mathys, a journalist - Stéphane Dugast, and a director - Sylvain Péroumal, as well as quotes from various participants. Visitors will discover the highlights of the expedition, and the everyday lives of those involved, the numan adventure, the ship itself - a key character in the story, the scientific work performed day and night, and the exceptional natural sites visited. It is both a celebration of travel, discovery, and imagination, and a thought-provoking reflection on a world faced with very real environmental challenges...

After "Le Cercle de Whitechapel", prepare for an eventful voyage! In the early days of the 20th century, a train of great prestige, the Express d’Orient (later to become the Orient Express) leaves Turkey, a country riven by civil war. On board, the staff pull out all the stops to keep the colourful passengers happy. They include Miss Mead, a stricte English governess, Miss Cartmoor, "the Buffalo Sarah Bernhardt", Mr Souline, a chess master, and Bram Stoker, creator of Dracula. But when two newcomers (playwright George Bernard Shaw and Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes) join the train, a woman disappears. The investigation promises to be complex, and the travellers experience a series of surprising events throughout a night of mystery, murder, and adventure. All abord the crime train!
