18th "Monte-Carlo Gastronomie" Food Fair at the Espace Fontvieille, Monaco
Enjoy some culinary delights and make some new taste discoveries from 22 to 25 November 2013
The 18th "Monte Carlo Gastronomie" food fair will be held from 22 to 25 November 2013 in the Espace Fontvieille.
The Société des Bains de Mer is the official partner of this event. Its chefs are getting ready to demonstrate their valuable skills and knowledge to visitors. This showcase for French and foreign gastronomy offers food lovers an opportunity to rediscover traditional flavours and local products and be inspired by original ideas for festive tables.
Each day, there will be many different cookery demonstrations by great chefs from Monaco and the Côte d'Azur, who will reveal the secrets of their prestigious recipes.
Numerous events will also take place at the fair, including competitions such as the "Slow Food Grand Prix," under the aegis of Slow Food Monaco Riviera Côte d'Azur and the Food Writers' Prize (Prix des Chroniqueurs Gastronomiques), which gives awards to wine and champagne producers.
The Monegasque Wine Waiter's Association (Association Monégasque des Sommeliers), The Association of French and Italian Maîtres d'Hotels, The Association of Barmen of Monaco, the Menton regional wine appreciation association (Confrérie de l’Etiquette du Mentonnais), the Grand Cordon d'Or association of food professionals, Monaco Taste and Flavours (Monaco Goût et Saveurs) and the Monegasque Hotel Industry Association (Association de l’Industrie Hôtelière Monégasque) will also be present.
