Noé, a young dancer, feels out of step with the world. But he is passionate about his art, and wants more than anything to succeed and make his mark. He compares himself to the men of his generation and the father figures around him as he was growing up.
The day he meets Adèle is a sliding doors moment. He feels a new excitement welling up inside him. Their bodies yearn for one another. They fall in love. Until Noé becomes lost under the weight of his responsibilities and disillusion. Their relationship takes a toxic turn, one in which authority takes the place of empathy.
