Known for his work inspired by fairy tales, which he revives in all their depth and darkness, Jean-Christophe Maillot is taking a bold new step with Œil pour œil, created in 2001. Here, the narration is even darker and morer sardonic. The fairy tale spills onto the seedy backstreets of a detective thriller.
