A little history ...
The Academy was founded in 1975, in line with the wish
of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III to create a high-level dance school in
the Principality of Monaco. For
many years, the school was directed by Marika Besobrasova and is internationally
renowned.

In 2009, following a proposal by Jean-Christophe
Maillot, H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover appointed Luca Masala Artistic Director
of Teaching and Pedagogy. The aim was to increase the Academy's
pre-professional dimension.
A school of dance and life ...
The Academy is not just a place where talent is
developed, but also a school of life, whose aim is to empower students and
prepare them to craft their own careers. The multidisciplinary teaching offered includes dance courses
(maintaining the quality of classical teaching while opening up the Academy to
the various influences of contemporary dance), artistic training and scholastic
courses that are adapted to suit various nationalities.
