The New National Museum of Monaco (NMNM)
is exhibiting a series of works by Tom Wesselmann at the Villa Paloma.From Friday 29 June to Sunday 6 January, from 10 am to 6 pm, Nouveau Musée National - Villa Paloma
This will undoubtedly be one of the artistic
highlights of summer 2018 on the Côte d'Azur.
Entitled "The Promise of Happiness," this
exhibition will centre on the career of this pop art painter, highlighting his great
contribution to the taboo subject of sexuality and retracing the portrait he
painted of women in his work.
The exhibition takes its title from Stendhal's famous
statement that "beauty is only the promise of happiness."
