You may recognise the name. Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian composer who has written several albums and scored numerous movie trailers, including the one for the 2011 hit French film "Les Intouchables".
He was introduced to music by his mother, and graduated from the Milan Conservatoire. His minimalist compositions have proven the perfect match for cinema, and his melodies accurately illustrate the emotions of various feature-length productions or biographical documentaries.
