Concert by Ristretto in Monaco – Stainer's "The Crucifixion."
The concert will take place at St. Paul's Church, Monaco, on Saturday 19 March 2016.
Ristretto will perform Stainer's "The Crucifixion" at a concert on Saturday 19 March at St. Paul's Church in Monaco. The concert is organised by the Chamber Music Association.
John Stainer composed "The Crucifixion" in 1887. It is one of the most popular English choral works and is a very expressive depiction of the events of the Passion of Christ.
"The Crucifixion" is a spectacular, intense and very moving work.
