The Yacht Club de Monaco, under the presidency of HSH Prince Albert II, continues to ramp up its competitive sailing policy with the organisation for the first time in its history of an IMOCA stage on the circuit. Some 15 teams are set to descend on the Principality for the start of a double-hander offshore race round some of the most emblematic race course marks in the Mediterranean.
After leaving Monaco, the fleet races down Corsica’s west coast before being propelled through the Strait of Bonifacio, towards the Aeolian Islands, where they tack in front of Stromboli and head for Palermo in Sicily. They then set course for the Balearic Islands before returning to Monaco.
