Jean-François Zygel Presents Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in Monaco

Pianist Jean-François Zygel will be at the Espace Léo Ferré on 26 April 2014 at 8.30 p.m.

Composer, pianist and improviser Jean-François Zygel, who won the 2006 "Victoire de la Musique" competition, is offering a new version of the classical concert by opening it up to include words, world music and the visual arts.

In parallel to his career as a pianist and composer, in 2006 François Zygel created the programme "La Boîte à musique" ("The Music Box") on the TV channel France 2, which he both wrote and presented.

This was followed in 2007 by "Les Clefs de l’Orchestre" ("Keys to the Orchestra"), with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra (the series was rebroadcast on France 5, France 2 and RTBF), then in 2008 by "Leçons d’Opéra" ("Opera Lessons") and "Les Nuits de l’improvisation" ("Improvisation Nights") at the Châtelet Theatre.
