Once upon a time there was a Princess who made Monaco her home…
In 2007, on the occasion of the exposition entitled "The Grace Kelly Years - Princess of Monaco", the National Tourism and Convention Office elaborated a walking tour through the Principality. Twenty-five stops along the way recall various aspects of Princess Grace's daily life.
With its information panels in five languages, the 3.5 mile tour has become an increasingly popular tourist attraction allowing visitors to gain a clearer image of one of the world's most mythical personalities in recent times.
Every landmark seems to recall her gracious presence in the Principality. At a stop near the Saint Dévote church, for instance, you will find a 1966 photograph of Princess Grace lighting fire to a fishing boat, an annual tradition honouring Monaco's Patron Saint. Numerous other pictures along the way recall how the Princess gave generously of her time and energy on behalf of Monaco.
A map of the walking tour is available without cost at the Monaco Tourism and Convention Office.
